I had a very bad experience with Interwetten. They withheld my funds without giving me any valid reason. They suddenly closed my account, and my withdrawal was never paid out. I tried to contact customer support, but I did not receive any clear explanation or solution. It feels very unfair and unprofessional to treat customers this way. I strongly do not recommend this company. Be very careful before depositing your money, as you might not get it back.

This is sadly one of the new kind of casinos that's fooling people to deposit cash, thinking they will get a bonus. Also, never trust a casino site that only has a phone number and a e-mail as their "support".

Pros

  • Bonus is released in incremental steps as real money, meaning partial progress is retained even if the full bonus isn't unlocked. Minimum deposit is low at €10, and winnings from regular bets can be paid out at any time.

Cons

  • The effective wagering requirement is very high — a €400 deposit requires €1,200 in total qualifying stakes to unlock the full €100 bonus. The minimum odds requirement of 1.70 is relatively high. Casino and system bets are excluded, and the cashout feature is disabled while the bonus is active. Only available to newsletter recipients, limiting accessibility.

Cons

  • Maximum cashback capped at €50; requires at least 3 selections with minimum total odds of 2.00; cashout option disabled on qualifying bets; must remember to activate promotion before placing each bet; 30% tier requires a 15-way combination which is very aggressive

Bonus Terms Analysis

This document provides the General Terms & Conditions framework but lacks specific bonus wagering requirements and detailed promotional terms. The operator maintains significant discretionary power over transactions and bonus decisions, with broad abuse definitions that could be applied subjectively. While MGA licensing provides some regulatory protection and free ADR is available, players should be cautious about the vague forfeiture conditions and request complete bonus-specific terms before claiming any promotion.

Bonus T&C Pros

  • Clear multi-language support with defined hierarchy

Terms available in various languages with English version prevailing in case of conflicts, ensuring clarity for international players

  • Licensed and regulated by Malta Gaming Authority

MGA License MGA/B2C/110/2004 with multiple recognized game suppliers, providing regulatory oversight

  • High casino payout ratios

Generally the pay-out ratio of casino games offered by Interwetten exceeds 95%

  • Alternative Dispute Resolution available

Free ADR through eCOGRA for transactional disputes including 'application of bonus offers or misleading terms and conditions'

  • Clear complaint escalation process

Complaints addressed within 10 days with escalation options to eCOGRA, ODR platform, and MGA

Bonus T&C Cons

  • Broad discretionary power to modify terms

Interwetten may need to change these Terms from time to time and reserves the right to do so for regulatory and commercial reasons. Can suspend services for players who don't accept changes

  • Employees and family members excluded

Employees and their immediate families are prohibited from participating in Interwetten betting offers, promotions, special offers or bonuses

  • Strict one account policy with severe penalties

Only one account per player allowed. Multiple accounts result in account closure, transaction cancellation, exclusion from games, and forfeiture of free money credited

  • Inactive account fees

EUR 5 per month charged after 12 consecutive months of inactivity, deducted monthly until balance reaches zero

  • Processing fee on unplayed deposits

Up to 10% processing fee on deposits not spent on play if player requests withdrawal

  • Discretionary right to cancel transactions

Interwetten reserves the right to cancel or declare as void transactions in its sole discretion - decision is binding, requires no justification, and cannot be contested

  • Broad fraud and abuse definitions

Fraudulent activity determined at Interwetten's sole discretion, includes vague terms like 'unfair advantage' and 'inappropriate manner'

  • Right to withhold payments

Interwetten entitled to withhold and/or retain any and all amounts which would otherwise have been paid or payable to the player in cases of suspected violations

  • Service fee on winnings in selected countries

5% service fee deducted from sports betting winnings for players in selected countries

  • General Terms only - specific bonus terms referenced but not provided

Document references 'applicable terms for promotions, special offers and bonuses' and 'Section M: General Guidelines Regarding Bonuses' but detailed bonus conditions appear incomplete in provided text

  • Paysafecard restrictions

If deposit not played through in full before withdrawal, or evidence of guaranteed profit betting, or low risk betting - proof of voucher purchase required before withdrawal

Bonus Warnings

  • Only one account permitted - duplicates result in forfeiture of all bonuses and free money
  • Operator can void transactions at sole discretion without justification and this cannot be contested
  • 5% service fee may apply to sports betting winnings in certain countries
  • Up to 10% fee on withdrawing unplayed deposits
  • 12-month inactivity triggers €5/month account fees
  • Paysafecard deposits require proof of purchase for withdrawal if not fully wagered
  • Document references Section M 'General Guidelines Regarding Bonuses' which contains additional terms not fully provided here

Bonus Forfeiture Conditions

  • Multiple accounts detected

Opening another account after previous account closed/limited results in account closure, transaction cancellation, exclusion from games, and forfeiture of free money credited

  • Suspected manipulation or rigging

Suspicion of bet/event manipulation, circumventing max win/stake, using front men, acting on third party's account, or using impermissible software tools

  • Underage gambling

Operator Rights

  • Operator reserves the right to modify terms
  • Operator can remove bonus without explanation
  • Winnings may be voided for rule violations
  • Abuse Prevention TermsFraudulent activity determined at Interwetten's sole discretion. Includes stolen credit cards, chip dumping, forgery, collusion, impermissible software tools, false registration data. Also includes vague 'inappropriate manner' and 'unfair advantage' language

Our Assessment

Before claiming any bonus at Interwetten, players should specifically request and review Section M (General Guidelines Regarding Bonuses) and any promotion-specific terms, as this General T&C document does not contain critical details like wagering requirements, time limits, or max bet restrictions. The broad discretionary powers retained by the operator and vague abuse definitions warrant careful consideration. The MGA license and eCOGRA ADR availability provide some player protection, but the ability to void transactions without justification is a significant concern.

Interwetten provides excellent responsible gambling tools and dispute resolution mechanisms, but terms heavily favor the operator with excessive discretionary powers, multiple undisclosed fees, and punitive charges for inactive accounts and unplayed deposits. High casino wagering requirements (30x) and broad account closure provisions without justification create significant player risk.

Exercise caution with Interwetten. While responsible gambling tools are excellent and dispute resolution is fair, the terms contain numerous red flags including excessive operator discretion, multiple undisclosed fees, and punitive charges. Players should fully play through deposits to avoid processing fees, maintain account activity to prevent monthly charges, and carefully review all bonus terms before accepting. The 30x casino wagering requirement is particularly high. Best suited for active players who will maintain regular account activity and fully understand all fee structures.

T&C Pros

  • Comprehensive responsible gambling tools with cooling-off periods

Players can set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit and loss limits. Self-exclusion options include temporary and permanent periods. Changes to reduce limits require 24-hour waiting period, and indefinite exclusion removal requires 7 days. Records maintained for exclusion period plus 6 months.

  • Clear dispute resolution process with free ADR service

Complaints handled within 10 days. Free access to eCOGRA Alternative Dispute Resolution for transactional disputes. Also provides ODR platform access and Malta Gaming Authority contact for regulatory issues.

  • High casino payout ratios disclosed

Casino games generally exceed 95% RTP (Return to Player). Specific payout ratios available per game in Help/FAQ menu and within individual game frames.

  • Reasonable withdrawal processing timeframe

Withdrawals should be approved or denied within 5 business days. Players informed of delays if funds take more than 10 days to arrive.

  • Transparent bonus structure with real money release

Bonuses released in predefined steps as real money that can be used on all products or withdrawn. Clear wagering requirements stated (5x for sports deposit bonus, 30x for casino deposit bonus, 3x for direct credits).

T&C Cons

  • High casino deposit bonus wagering requirement

Casino deposit bonuses require 30x wagering of the deposit amount before bonus is released. This is significantly higher than the 5x requirement for sports bonuses.

  • Excessive inactive account fees with short notice period

€5 per month charged on accounts inactive for 12+ months, deducted monthly until balance reaches zero. Only 30 days notice provided before fees begin. Can drain account completely over time.

  • Up to 10% processing fee on unplayed deposits

Players who deposit and withdraw without gaming activities face processing fees up to 10% of deposited amount. Also applies to deposits not fully played through before withdrawal (particularly Paysafecard).

  • Broad discretionary powers to void transactions and close accounts

Interwetten reserves right to close accounts, cancel transactions, and withhold payments 'at any time without giving any reasons' and 'at its sole discretion' without justification. Decisions are binding and cannot be contested by players.

  • Up to 5% administrative fees on deposits and withdrawals

All deposits and payouts may be subject to administrative fee up to 5% to cover transaction expenses. Additional costs from payment processing (retransfers, foreign bank transfers) charged to player.

  • 5% service fee on sports betting winnings in selected countries

Interwetten reserves right to deduct 5% service fee from sports betting winnings for players in selected countries. Fee deducted before crediting to account. Countries not specified.

  • Minimum withdrawal threshold of €30

Players cannot withdraw amounts less than €30, which may trap small balances in accounts. Combined with inactive account fees, small balances could be completely consumed.

Important T&C Warnings

  • Operator can close accounts and void transactions 'at any time without giving reasons' - decisions are binding and cannot be contested
  • Up to 10% processing fee charged on deposits that are not played through before withdrawal
  • €5 monthly inactive account fee after 12 months can completely drain account balance
  • Multiple fees possible: up to 5% admin fee on deposits/withdrawals, up to 10% processing fee on unplayed deposits, 5% service fee on sports winnings in selected countries
  • Casino deposit bonuses require 30x wagering - significantly higher than industry average
  • Minimum €30 withdrawal threshold may trap small balances that get consumed by inactive fees
