Roony Bardghji's recent injury has reportedly served as a wake-up call for FC Barcelona. In response to this, and to prevent any further transfer complications, the club has opted to sideline those deemed surplus to requirements for the upcoming campaign.

According to 'Sport', upon returning to training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Tuesday, six players were seen undergoing tailored sessions away from the main squad: Marc Casado, Hector Fort, Jofre Torrents, Tomas Marques, Guille Fernandez, and Toni Fernandez.

With no place in the plans of Hansi Flick and Deco, the sextet will follow a bespoke fitness programme over the coming days. This move is designed to maintain their conditioning while avoiding any injuries that could jeopardise potential moves. Currently, Jofre Torrents appears closest to the exit, with a deal reportedly being finalised with Ajax.

Meanwhile, the 'Blaugrana' hierarchy is looking to expedite the departures of Casado and Fort, the most high-profile names on the list. Midfielder Casado is weighing up his options between Saudi Arabia and European football, while full-back Fort, who recently returned from a loan spell at Elche, is attracting interest from several Premier League clubs.
