Valencia coach Carlos Corberan declared he possesses "plenty of strength" to turn the team's situation around, though he acknowledged understanding the criticism from the Valencia fans, who called for his resignation at various points during the 0-2 defeat to Real Madrid. "I understand that the disappointment over the result must be directed at the coach. I have a lot of strength, I see the team competing with great commitment, and I bear the responsibility to turn the situation around. I understand the criticism, and it makes me accountable," he told reporters.

Corberan reiterated his conviction that he has the strength to continue in his coaching role: "I possess all the energy, strength, and responsibility. I know we're coming off three consecutive defeats, one of them a Copa del Rey elimination; it's a tough, highly demanding period, and I face it head-on," he added.

"We must demand results from ourselves. I do not agree that the team lacks identity. The values my family instilled in me are those of fighting and taking responsibility. I believe the team will change this dynamic and start getting results. After seeing them today, I am even more convinced. The diagnosis involves improving in every way we can to secure a positive result next matchday," he explained.

Regarding the match, Corberan stated that "the team performed well throughout, only constrained by the limited minutes 'Titi' (Thierry Rendall) could play." "With Foulquier sidelined for a while and Rubo Iranzo also out, we only had 'Titi' available. I believe the opening goal should have been disallowed. The referee ought to have stopped play earlier due to a shove from Alvaro Carreras on Hugo Duro. Substituting Beltran was tough, but bringing on Sadiq was a necessity.
