RC Deportivo's impressive season in the Spanish Second Division has propelled Yeremay Hernandez into the spotlight, emerging as a key component of the Galician side's success. Despite receiving summer offers, the winger opted to remain with the club where he has developed, focusing on achieving promotion to La Liga. Speaking to 'El Larguero' on 'Cadena SER', the player discussed his current situation and prospects should he eventually depart the Coruña-based team.

"We're in a good moment, starting the season with enthusiasm and picking up a lot of points. Hopefully, we can continue like this until the end of the season and get promoted," he stated, reflecting on Deportivo's strong year, which sees them in automatic promotion places as November begins.

Yeremay was asked about the possibility of a call-up to the Spain national team: "It's a bit far off right now; I'm playing in the second division, and I have to keep taking steps. Hopefully, it will happen one day. It's true that being in the second division makes it a bit more difficult because you're playing in a lower league, but at the end of the day, it's football. The pitch is the same, the ball is still round. It's true that the league is there, and I have to keep taking steps. I haven't spoken to Luis de la Fuente."

Regarding a potential future departure from Deportivo and his preferred league, he expressed a strong preference for Spanish football: "I really like the Spanish league, our league. I like the big teams, Barcelona or Real Madrid; they are 'top' teams, and I would love it. It would be a dream to be able to play for one of those two clubs one day. For now, my dream is to play with Deportivo in La Liga."

He concluded with a laugh when asked about playing alongside top talents: "Playing alongside Mbappe or Lamine? Being alongside both of them would be amazing, it would be incredible. They'd give it to your feet and all that."
