Milan's opening pre-season friendlies have offered the first glimpses into Ruben Amorim's tactical blueprint, while simultaneously shedding light on potential summer departures. According to reports from 'Goal', seven players now find their futures hanging in the balance.

Among the primary candidates for an exit are Fikayo Tomori, Youssouf Fofana, David Odogu, and Zachary Athekame. All four remained unused substitutes during the recent defeat to Chelsea in Jakarta, failing to see a single minute of action.

The status of Samuele Ricci, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Yunus Musah is also under scrutiny. Ricci, the Italian midfielder, appears to be the furthest down the pecking order, facing stiff competition from the likes of Modric, Rabiot, and Jashari, in addition to Musah himself.

Loftus-Cheek’s situation is more complex, with his future heavily complicated by a salary in the region of 4 million euros per season. Meanwhile, Musah’s fate is intrinsically linked to the movement of his fellow midfielders; should others depart, the American could yet stay. However, a midfield logjam could ultimately force Milan to sanction his sale.
